January meeting

There was an excellent turnout at the January meeting for the AGM, the results are below. There was an open meeting after the AGM where several subjects were discussed including an update on the continuing problems with the Squinting Cat, Village response to the crossing now it is up and running, feedback on the questionnaire from the recent Labour Party newsletter. Councillor Dave Shaw from the Hucknall Branch talked to members about  Christmas lights and gave an update on Hucknall's plans for lights Other items covered included the Welfare proposal and it’s impact on the Village, the Car Boot sale in the Village Hall and the visit to Parliament. The Branch also discussed and voted on a resolution to be taken forward to the March meeting of the CLP.
