MANSFIELD ROAD
Mansfield Road is now too busy for the Village to cope with. The amount of traffic passing through the Village is making life difficult for residents, cars cannot pull out onto the Main road, pedestrians cannot walk across the road safely and in the Old Village you cannot safely walk on the pavements.
What happened to our By-
The Party insists that any further developments in the Village contains plans to break up the traffic flow as to aid residents access Mansfield Road safely.
CLEANER SAFER PAVEMENTS
In 2008 Clipstone's Labour Parish Councillors had 10 dog waste bins installed around the Village. In 2010 the Parish Council ordered 10 more to make the pavements better to walk on, Our Councillors are also pressing the Police to take action against people who block pavements with cars, making people walk on the road to get past these obstructions.
