CAVENDISH PARK

The new proposed development is at the moment being considered by Newark and Sherwood Planning department, changing the site from industrial to housing.

Clipstone’s Labour Party Councillors have listened to residents concerns and fought for the change of use to housing.

Paddy Tipping MP, County Councillor Andy Freeman and local Clipstone Councillor Dave Thompson recently toured the Cavendish Park estate (see photo) as Dave Thompson wanted them to be aware of the recent spate of anti-social behaviour in the area. County Councillor Andy Freeman said ' he was glad Dave had brought this to his attention and along with Paddy he would now be putting pressure on the local beat manager to look in to this' Paddy and Andy were then taken around the village to see the progress of the work on the colliery site and they visited the Circle centre
